Sawtooth Forest - Cassia Division - Trail 917 - High Loop

This trail is in the FS Flats campground area.  This section of the trail was photographed in the afternoon after the Magic Valley ATV Riders worked on the trail cleaning out the water bars as part of National Public Lands Day.  This is a good trail to ride if you like riding over water bars like I do.  Get some speed up and they are lots of fun as long as you watch for blind corners.  Click on any photo to enlarge it.

This photo shows where the trail branches.  The left brand is a steep rocky trail that goes to the top of the next photo.  The right branch is for people who don't want to travel on the steep spot and just goes around the hill.
