Sawtooth Forest - Cassia Division - Trail 002 - Martindale Fork

This trail does not get used by ATV riders very much.  In fact, it is possible that 2013 will be the last year it will be an ATV trail and next year it will be switched to a motorcycle trail.  This trail is NOT a trail for beginner riders, and should only be ridden by an experienced rider.  There are some VERY narrow areas with steep drop-offs, as well as some somewhat angled side hills to ride on.

This table shows what the trail looks like if you rode from the North to the South end.

This innocent looking rock is one I tend to hit every time I ride the trail.  When you hit it, it jams the handlebars and can toss you over into the ravine to the West.  As you can see, it is hidden by a bit of grass, in the spring it is hidden better.
